At the conclusion of this course, the delegate will be able to:
- Define leadership and what that means in the delegate’s organisation;
- Distinguish between personal, relationship, and organisational leadership;
- Better know their own personal values, purpose, and beliefs, as well as the strengths and limitations of personal style – finding the courage;
- Understand how the leader impacts the team – both intentionally and unintentionally;
- Develop a personal vision for the team that the leader can truly stand for;
- Develop strategies to work more effectively with the team, including the balancing of delegation with guidance;
- Gain skills to lead diverse team members through a culture of appreciation and cooperation;
- Elicit a greater contribution from each team member through a personal touch;
- Improve the performance of team members through inspiration, motivation, and responsibility;
- Integrate teams into the whole organisation through alignment of purpose.
