Course content and outcomes

At the conclusion of this course the delegate should be able to:

  • Understand the fundamental principles of Job Evaluation,
  • Understand the role of the Job Evaluation committee,
  • Compare the various Job Evaluation systems,
  • Understand the theory and principles of Paterson Job Evaluation methodology,
  • Understand the basic principles of the other JE systems (only if this is specifically requested by the client),
  • Competently evaluate jobs utilising the Paterson or SST Job Evaluation methodologies.

Are there any prerequisites for attending this course?

It would be advisable for the delegate to have completed a Job Profile Writing Course before attending this course.

Accreditation

This training course is accredited by two highly prestigious bodies in the Remuneration and Reward field – SARA and IPM – and CPD points will be awarded for completing the course.

We offer package rates for companies that are sending multiple people on a public course, or that are sending one person on multiple public courses:

  • Structured according to the total number of course days required;
  • Savings of up to 30%;
  • Valid for one year from date of purchase;
  • Specific to the company (rather than the delegate), so can be used by any number of employees, in any combination, for any course or courses.
  • We require an upfront payment.

We charge a flat daily rate of R26 775.00 for up to 10 people, PLUS a daily fee of R3 000.00 for each additional delegate.

Many of our courses are accredited by highly prestigious bodies in the Remuneration and Reward field. CPD points will be awarded for all completed accredited courses.

  • Once your booking has been confirmed in writing and you have been invoiced, an upfront payment is required.
  • Once invoiced, there will be no refunds. However, you may transfer your course or package to anyone in your company to use.
  • 21st Century reserves the right to invoice customers for goods and services ordered, which were procured upon written request (completed form), either via a non-cancellable, irrevocable order, an official purchase order, or an email instruction received.
  • 21st Century reserves the right not to accept any order.
  • If you cancel or reschedule at any time before the date of training, payment will be retained and you will receive a training credit, which can be used within a calendar year. You may, however, send a substitute in your place at no extra cost. Please inform us – IN WRITING – of the new name for registration purposes at least one working day before the event.
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances, 21st Century reserves the right to change the programme content, the speakers, the venue or the date.
  • If the event is canceled, delegates will be notified in writing. The delegate can then choose to attend on the next available date of the scheduled event.
