This course ensures that you will have the knowledge to deal with the grievance process in a manner that is acceptable to both the employee and the employer, and that you will understand the hierarchical structure for presenting and settling workplace disputes.

Employees may have concerns, complaints, dissatisfaction or a feeling of injustice related to workplace relationships or the work environment. All of these issues need to be addressed by management.

At the conclusion of this course the delegate should understand:

  • The definition of a grievance,

  • The purpose of a grievance procedure,
  • When a complaint is considered a formal grievance or misconduct,
  • When to mediate and when to initiate a formal investigation,
  • The basic principles to consider when resolving grievances,
  • The rights of an aggrieved employee,
  • Steps to resolve a grievance,
  • How to ensure better workplace relations,
  • The Initiation Flowchart Procedure for managing a grievance.

  • Structured according to the total number of course days required;
  • Savings of up to 30%;
  • Valid for one year from date of purchase;
  • Specific to the company (rather than the delegate), so can be used by any number of employees, in any combination, for any course or courses.
  • We require an upfront payment.

Package savings are based on the 1-day rate of R6 900.00

We require a minimum of 5 delegates to run in-house courses.

  • For between 5 and 10 delegates, a flat daily rate of R26 775.00;
  • PLUS a daily fee for each additional delegate of R2 300.00.

We can tailor-make each course, or customise any combination of courses to suit your organisation’s needs.

Many of our courses are accredited by highly prestigious bodies in the Remuneration and Reward field. CPD points will be awarded for all completed accredited courses.

  • Once your booking has been confirmed in writing and you have been invoiced, an upfront payment is required.
  • Once invoiced, there will be no refunds. However, you may transfer your course or package to anyone in your company to use.
  • 21st Century reserves the right to invoice customers for goods and services ordered, which were procured upon written request (completed form), either via a non-cancellable, irrevocable order, an official purchase order, or an email instruction received.
  • 21st Century reserves the right not to accept any order.
  • If you cancel or reschedule at any time before the date of training, payment will be retained and you will receive a training credit, which can be used within a calendar year. You may, however, send a substitute in your place at no extra cost. Please inform us – IN WRITING – of the new name for registration purposes at least one working day before the event.
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances, 21st Century reserves the right to change the programme content, the speakers, the venue or the date.
  • If the event is canceled, delegates will be notified in writing. The delegate can then choose to attend on the next available date of the scheduled event.
  • Please note that prices may be subject to annual changes, based on inflation, without prior notification.
