Key Learning Outcomes
- Understand the link between organisational design and job profiles and the strategic impact and value of well-written profiles;
- Understand the difference between Job Descriptions and Job Profiles;
- Accurately define terminology and apply job profiling language and rules;
- Plan a profiling project through a comprehensive preparation process to ensure engagement, collaboration, and a successful outcome;
- Define valid components and develop an effective job profile template;
- Identify and apply profiling processes and methodology;
- Conduct effective profiling interviews, using advanced questioning and probing techniques;
- Promote success through meaningful contribution, collaboration, and engagement by understanding your role (who should update vs. who drives and owns the profiling process);
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies or errors in drafted profiles;
- Produce accurate, effective, and high-quality job profiles that support the accurate outcome of Job Evaluation and all other Remuneration and HR processes, aligned with strategic objectives.
