Course content and outcomes

At the conclusion of this course the delegate should understand:

  • Operational efficiency, in particular working capital management,
  • Measures of operating profitability,
  • How to identify measures of profitability that are most relevant for operations;
  • The drivers of value creation and how to develop relevant key performance indicators and incentives,
  • How to create incentives for value creation,
  • How to calculate the net amount of capital used in a business and its cost,
  • How to manage a balance sheet to create value from capital, in,particular working capital,
  • How to reconcile cash flow and income statement profits,
  • How to construct a cash flow statement and be able to break down overall cash flow into its operating, investing and financing components,
  • The difference between accounting and economic profits,
  • The three financial statements and the linkages between them.

In-house Course Rates & Information

We require a minimum of 5 delegates from your organisation to run in-house courses.

  • For between 5 and 10 delegates, a flat daily rate of R26 775.00;
  • PLUS a daily fee for each additional delegate of R2 300.00.

We can tailor-make each course or customise any combination of courses to suit your organisation’s needs.

Many of our courses are accredited by highly prestigious bodies in the Remuneration and Reward field. CPD points will be awarded for all completed accredited courses.

  • Once your booking has been confirmed in writing and you have been invoiced, an upfront payment is required.
  • Once invoiced, there will be no refunds. However, you may transfer your course or package to anyone in your company to use.
  • 21st Century reserves the right to invoice customers for goods and services ordered, which were procured upon written request (completed form), either via a non-cancellable, irrevocable order, an official purchase order, or an email instruction received.
  • 21st Century reserves the right not to accept any order.
  • If you cancel or reschedule at any time before the date of training, payment will be retained and you will receive a training credit, which can be used within a calendar year. You may, however, send a substitute in your place at no extra cost. Please inform us – IN WRITING – of the new name for registration purposes at least one working day before the event.
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances, 21st Century reserves the right to change the programme content, the speakers, the venue or the date.
  • If the event is canceled, delegates will be notified in writing. The delegate can then choose to attend on the next available date of the scheduled event.
  • Please note that prices may be subject to annual changes, based on inflation, without prior notification.
