Ntombizone Feni
CEO
Ntombizone brings 15 years of experience in business and human capital consulting to her role. Currently pursuing a Master of Philosophy in Inclusive Innovation, her research focuses on transforming no-fee secondary schools in Soweto into economically self-sustainable community builders.
At 21st Century, she is the commercial head for the Change Management and Organisational Design business practices. Her passion lies in aligning sustainable business practices with social impact, governance, and community values to create purpose-driven and empowered organisations.

Sharlene Herandien
Board Secretary
Sharlene Herandien is the Training Manager at 21st Century. She has been in the training industry for over 20 years and is passionate about the learning and development journey. Her role at 21st has allowed her to forge meaningful relationships within the industry.
The 21st Century Foundation provides an opportunity for her to live out this passion by getting involved at a grassroots level.

Michael Sieff
Non-Executive Director
With 20 years of Executive experience, Michael is a strong leader, skilled in strategic planning, aged care, operations management, facilities management, social entrepreneurship, turnaround specialisation and organisational change.
As co-founder of both Circle Senior Living and SILVERAgE, Michael makes his passion for the senior living space clear.
As the Group CEO of the Chevrah Kadisha Group for 8 years, Michael managed an annual budget of R300m, and serviced 1000 full time residents. He effectively and efficiently managed multiple facilities and was responsible for the implementation of a successful restructuring and turnaround strategy, as well as the masterplan for upgrading all campuses, which involved the planning for long-term sustainable energy implementation.
Michael was the National Director of ORT South Africa. Vision – Educating for Life and Mission – Making People Employable, Creating Employment Opportunities. He also has had a lot of corporate experience, heading up HR, Training & Development at Discovery Ltd.

Anna Harris
Non-Executive Director
Anna is passionate about continuous learning and is excited to be involved in a foundation involved in Ikasi education. Having over 30 years of work experience as a Human Resources generalist, her skills will be well suited to bringing Compliance to the Board activities.

Simangaliso Mashiloane
Non-Executive Director
Simangaliso is a young and highly driven entrepreneur born and bred in Soweto, Diepkloof.
Working with more than 600 learners from under-served communities in Soweto, he is deeply passionate about entrepreneurship, equitable education and tackling youth unemployment.
With a strong belief in the power of education and its ability to transform and uplift lives, Simangaliso is ready to assist with the Foundation’s mission of education, entrepreneurship and leadership tenure and the success of the Foundation’s projects, and to further the Foundation’s initiatives in governance, ethical integrity and accountability.
