The 21st Century Foundation is continuing our mission to uplift and empower the youth of our adopted school, Fons Luminis, in Diepkloof Soweto. We are excited to announce the next phase of the Education Uplifting Ikasi Career & Entrepreneurship Expo, scheduled for the 31 August 2024, coinciding with Women’s Month in South Africa.

We would be honoured to have you join us as a partner for this annual event. We are enthusiastic about the potential impact of this event and look forward to the possibility of working together.

How can you help?

Your involvement would be invaluable in offering our learners exposure to diverse career paths, entrepreneurial opportunities, and the importance of community collaboration.

Expo partnership/collaboration

• Exhibition of your products and offerings at the Expo Exhibition space,
• Verbal presentation of your products and offerings at the main stage of the exhibition,
• Co-sponsorship (catering lunch for learners on the day),
• Motivational speaking,
• We encourage our partners to bring interactive and stimulating exhibits, activities and games that can captivate and educate our learners, providing them with a hands-on experience that could shape their future career choices.

Post-Expo partnership /collaboration

• Education materials and stationery,
• Teacher training, coaching and mentoring,
• Adopt a grade: We sponsored the 2023 grade 8 cohort, which we are continuing with as the current 2024 grade 9 cohort, in Maths and Science tutoring. We are looking for partners to sponsor other grades in the same subjects in the future,
• Introduction of extra-curricula programmes at the school,
• School infrastructure maintenance support.
